Delicious and easy vegan chocolate covered strawberries that are perfect for any occasion, especially Valentine’s Day.
Ingredients

- 1 pound of fresh strawberries
- 1 cup of dairy-free dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
- Optional toppings: crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or sprinkles
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries and let them dry completely.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil.
- Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate.
- Allow excess chocolate to drip off before placing the strawberry on a parchment-lined tray.
- If desired, sprinkle with your choice of toppings while the chocolate is still wet.
- Repeat with the remaining strawberries.
- Place the tray in the fridge for about 30 minutes to let the chocolate harden.
Notes
Make sure the strawberries are completely dry before dipping. You can use different types of vegan chocolate for variety.
