Description

A light and simple dessert that combines creamy baked yogurt with a crunchy pistachio crust, perfect for a mild and not too sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup crushed pistachios
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine yogurt, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cornstarch in a mixing bowl. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Mix crushed pistachios, melted butter, and salt in another bowl to create the crust.
  4. Press the pistachio mixture into the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Pour the yogurt mixture over the crust and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and slightly golden on top.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Let it cool to room temperature to slice cleanly. Serve plain or with fresh berries, honey, or powdered sugar.
