Ingredients
- Fresh strawberries
- Balsamic vinegar
- Goat cheese
- Mascarpone cheese
- Sourdough or baguette
- Honey (optional)
- Fresh basil (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Toast slices of bread until golden brown.
- In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries with balsamic vinegar, a pinch of salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix goat cheese and mascarpone cheese until smooth.
- Spread the cheese mixture onto the toasted bread slices.
- Top the toast with the marinated strawberries. Drizzle honey on top if desired.
- Garnish with fresh basil if using.
