Description

A quick and easy dish combining sliced beef, fresh broccoli, and flavorful noodles, perfect for busy weeknights or a special meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger, stirring for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Pour this sauce over the beef and broccoli, and stir well to combine.
  6. Add the cooked lo mein noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with green onions.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, replace beef with tofu and use vegetable broth instead of oyster sauce.
