This dish brings spicy Cajun flavor to both shrimp and salmon with a smooth garlic cream sauce, perfect for both weeknights and special occasions.

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mashed potatoes (for serving)
- Green beans (for serving)
Instructions
- Season shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add salmon and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
- Bring to a simmer, then return shrimp and salmon to the skillet to heat through.
- Serve over mashed potatoes with green beans on the side.
Notes
Pat the salmon and shrimp dry before seasoning for a better sear. Keep the heat medium to prevent burning the cream.
