Description

This dish brings spicy Cajun flavor to both shrimp and salmon with a smooth garlic cream sauce, perfect for both weeknights and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mashed potatoes (for serving)
  • Green beans (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add salmon and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  5. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  7. Bring to a simmer, then return shrimp and salmon to the skillet to heat through.
  8. Serve over mashed potatoes with green beans on the side.

Notes

Pat the salmon and shrimp dry before seasoning for a better sear. Keep the heat medium to prevent burning the cream.
