Ingredients

  • 1 lb Cajun-seasoned steak tips
  • 8 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add Cajun-seasoned steak tips and cook until browned and cooked to your liking.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add heavy cream, garlic powder, and onion powder; stir until well combined.
  5. Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Add the cooked rigatoni to the sauce and mix until well coated.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

Pat steak tips dry before cooking for a better sear. Avoid overcooking the pasta, and add reserved pasta water if the sauce thickens too much.
