Description
A warm and cheesy dip that combines the fresh flavors of a Caprese salad with gooey mozzarella and cream cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Crusty bread, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine diced fresh tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped fresh basil, and olive oil in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix grated mozzarella cheese and cream cheese in another bowl until well combined.
- Stir the tomato and basil mixture into the cheese mixture until fully blended.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
For best results, use ripe but firm tomatoes and drain any extra liquid if they are very juicy.
