Description

Fresh, flavorful Caprese Skewers with tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, perfect for snacks or parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 pcs Cherry Tomatoes
  • 12 pcs Mini Mozzarella Balls
  • 12 pcs Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 12 pcs Toothpicks or mini skewers
  • 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 0.5 tbsp Balsamic Glaze
  • Pinch Sea Salt
  • Pinch Cracked Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves. Pat them dry using a clean paper towel. Drain mozzarella balls from any excess liquid.
  2. Using a toothpick or mini skewer, thread one cherry tomato, followed by a fresh basil leaf (folded if large), then a mozzarella ball. Repeat until all skewers are assembled.
  3. Arrange the assembled skewers on a platter. Drizzle lightly with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze. Sprinkle with sea salt and cracked black pepper if desired.
  4. Serve fresh immediately, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving for a cooler snack.

Notes

Dry the basil and tomatoes well to prevent sogginess. Use good quality olive oil for bright flavor.
