Description

Delightful dessert bars combining creamy cheesecake, sweet apples, and rich caramel, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups peeled, diced apples
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Fold in the diced apples and cinnamon. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until set.
  7. Allow to cool before refrigerating for at least 2 hours.
  8. Cut into bars and serve, drizzling more caramel sauce on top if desired.

Notes

Serve chilled with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or extra cinnamon for added flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days or freeze for three months.
