Description

Delicious caramel apples combining crisp fruit and soft, sweet caramel, perfect for parties or as a fall treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium Apples
  • 1 cup Caramel candies
  • 1/2 cup Nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the apples thoroughly.
  2. Insert a stick into the top of each apple.
  3. Melt the caramel in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  4. Dip each apple into the caramel, turning to coat completely.
  5. If desired, roll in chopped nuts or drizzle with melted chocolate.
  6. Place the coated apples on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow to cool until the caramel hardens.

Notes

Use firm, tart apples for best results. Store in a cool place, wrapped in plastic wrap, and consume within 2-3 days.
