- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the shredded cheese, melted butter, milk, and egg.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serve.
Notes
Use freshly shredded cheese for better melt and flavor. Do not overmix the batter; stir until just combined.
