Description
Delicious cheesy broccoli tots that are crispy outside and soft inside, perfect as a snack or party finger food.
Ingredients
- Fresh Broccoli Florets (About 1 pound)
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese (1 cup, packed)
- Grated Parmesan Cheese (1/2 cup)
- Panko Breadcrumbs (1 cup)
- All-Purpose Flour (1/4 cup)
- Eggs (2 large)
- Garlic Powder (1 teaspoon)
- Onion Powder (1 teaspoon)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon, or to taste)
- Black Pepper (1/4 teaspoon, or to taste)
- Olive Oil or Cooking Spray (for baking or air frying)
Instructions
- Steam or boil the broccoli until tender-crisp, then cool and drain well.
- Chop or pulse the broccoli into small pieces for texture.
- Mix the broccoli with cheddar, parmesan, panko, flour, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into 1–2 tablespoon sized tots.
- Choose to bake, air fry, or pan-fry until golden and crispy.
Notes
Serve warm with a dipping sauce such as ketchup, ranch, or marinara. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
