- 1 & 1/2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese
- 12 onion slices
- Seasoned salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Layer half of the shredded cheese on a baking sheet in ring shapes.
- Put an onion slice on each cheese ring.
- Cover each onion slice with the remaining cheese.
- Bake until the cheese bubbles and turns golden, about 10–15 minutes.
- Let the rings cool a bit so the cheese firms up. Serve warm.
Notes
For best results, use thin onion slices, apply a light dusting of seasoned salt, and allow to cool slightly before serving.
