Description

Quick and warm snack with melted cheese and soft onion centers, perfect for parties or movie nights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 & 1/2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 12 onion slices
  • Seasoned salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Layer half of the shredded cheese on a baking sheet in ring shapes.
  3. Put an onion slice on each cheese ring.
  4. Cover each onion slice with the remaining cheese.
  5. Bake until the cheese bubbles and turns golden, about 10–15 minutes.
  6. Let the rings cool a bit so the cheese firms up. Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use thin onion slices, apply a light dusting of seasoned salt, and allow to cool slightly before serving.
