- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken breasts in the skillet for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in the buttery sauce.
- Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the noodles.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve.
Notes
Serve warm and consider adding vegetables for extra nutritional value. To store, let cool and refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for 3 months.
