Ingredients

4 chicken thighs or breasts

2 cups marinara sauce

1 chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil or parsley to garnish

Optional: 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
Instructions

Sear the chicken in olive oil until golden brown.

Remove chicken; sauté garlic and onions in same pan.

Add marinara sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5 mins.

Return chicken to pan. Cover and cook 30 minutes on low.

(Optional) Add cheese during last 10 minutes of cooking.
