Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
  4. Beat in the vanilla and eggs until everything is well blended.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  7. Spread the dough evenly in the prepared heart-shaped pan.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool, then cut into heart shapes using the cookie cutter.
  10. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For the best texture, ensure your butter is softened but not melted and do not over-mix the dough.
