Description

Delightful cookies combining the sweetness of cookies with rich chocolate and fruity strawberries, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
  • Additional chocolate for drizzling
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the dark chocolate chips and crushed freeze-dried strawberries.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
  9. Once the cookies are cooled, melt additional chocolate and drizzle it over the top.
  10. Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Freeze for longer storage.
