Description

Churro Cheesecake combines the crispy sweetness of churros with the creamy richness of cheesecake, making it a perfect dessert for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together ½ cup granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and arrange it in a greased 9-inch springform pan, covering the bottom and pressing it up the sides slightly.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with ¾ cup granulated sugar until smooth.
  5. Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix until everything is well combined.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture into the crust made with the crescent roll dough.
  7. Fold the top of the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal.
  8. Brush the melted butter over the top of the dough.
  9. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over the crust.
  10. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. Let it cool before serving.

Notes

You can serve warm or chilled, and it’s great with whipped cream or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
