Description

A no-bake dessert that combines cream cheese and sweet cherry pie filling, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 9 whole crackers)
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 container Cool Whip, 8 ounces
  • 1 can cherry pie filling, 21 ounces

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and granulated sugar. Mix until the crumbs are coated.
  3. Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish and set aside.
  4. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
  5. Gently fold in the Cool Whip until smooth and fluffy, then spread over the crust.
  6. Pour the cherry pie filling on top and spread evenly.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

Notes

For extra crunch, add chopped nuts to the crust. Fresh cherries can be used instead of pie filling.
