Description

Delightful cookies combining soft and chewy textures with Oreo chunks and chocolate chips, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg plus 1 egg yolk, room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 12 Oreos, crushed (plus additional for topping each cookie)
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips (plus additional for topping each cookie)
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips (plus additional for topping each cookie)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together on medium speed for about 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, beating until just combined.
  5. Mix in the crushed Oreos, white chocolate chips, and dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Using a 2 tbsp cookie scoop, form dough balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them at least 2 inches apart. Top each with additional crushed Oreos and chocolate chips.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Cool on the baking sheet for 3 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm or with a glass of milk. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
