Description

This Creamy Cajun Crab Pasta Salad mixes cool pasta with spicy Cajun flavor and tender crab, making it a perfect dish for picnics, potlucks, or quick weeknight meals.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fusilli or rotini)
  • 1 lb crab meat (cooked)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup celery (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup green onions (sliced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Add the cooled pasta, crab meat, celery, red bell pepper, and green onions to the bowl. Gently toss to combine.
  4. Adjust seasoning if needed, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

For a lighter dressing, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream. Adjust Cajun seasoning to your heat preference.
