Delightful crescent rolls filled with sweet surprises, perfect for parties or snacks.

- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls (8 Count) or 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Dough Sheet
- 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon colored candy sprinkles
- 2 Fruit Roll-ups™ chewy fruit-flavored rolls (if desired)
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- If using crescent rolls, unroll the dough and separate it into 2 large rectangles. Overlap the long sides to form a 13×7-inch rectangle and press the edges to seal. If using the dough sheet, just unroll the dough.
- Cut the large rectangle in half lengthwise, then cut both halves crosswise to make 12 smaller rectangles (about 3 1/2 x 2 inches).
- Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of mini chocolate chips in the center of each small rectangle.
- Pull the two long sides together and pinch to seal. Pinch each end about 1/2 inch from the edges.
- Place the sealed poppers seam side down on a baking sheet.
- Cut each end of the poppers 3 times to create a fringe effect.
- Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle with colored candy sprinkles.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Once cooled, cut the fruit-flavored snacks into 24 strips and tie them around both ends of each popper.
Notes
Ensure edges are well pinched to prevent filling leakage. Customize the filling as desired.
