Description

Delightful and healthier churro bites made in the air fryer, coated in cinnamon sugar.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and butter; bring to a boil.
  2. Add flour and salt; stir until a ball forms.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and eggs until smooth.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Fill a piping bag with dough and pipe small bites onto parchment paper.
  6. Spray the churro bites with cooking spray.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  8. In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  9. Toss the churro bites in the sugar-cinnamon mixture before serving.
