Description

Deliciously crispy onion rings made with a gluten-free batter, perfect for Whole30 diets and fried to golden perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Slice the onions into rings and separate them.
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, coconut flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Gradually add water to the dry ingredients until the batter is smooth.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Dip each onion ring into the batter, then carefully place them in the hot oil.
  6. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
