Description

A simple, crunchy snack made from smashed broccoli that bakes up golden and mild.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Broccoli
  • 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • Seasonings (e.g., salt, pepper, garlic powder) to taste
  • 1 cup Yogurt (for dipping sauce)
  • Additional flavorings for the dipping sauce (e.g., lemon juice, herbs) to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil broccoli until tender, then drain and cool.
  2. Smash the boiled broccoli with a flat object.
  3. In a bowl, mix cornstarch with seasonings.
  4. Coat smashed broccoli with the cornstarch mixture.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) until golden and crispy, about 15-20 minutes.
  6. For the dipping sauce, mix yogurt with additional flavorings.
  7. Serve the crispy broccoli chips warm with the tangy dipping sauce.

Notes
