Description

These soft and light Crumbl Sugar Cookies are perfect for parties and events, featuring a mild vanilla flavor and a charming pink frosting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 cup (166g) salted butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup (173g) granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/3 cups (354g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup (56g) salted butter (softened) [for frosting]
  • 1 1/2 cups (161g) powdered sugar
  • 1/81/4 tsp almond extract
  • 13 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • pink food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone liner. Set aside.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar with either an electric hand mixer or stand mixer for 1 minute until light and fluffy.
  3. Scrape the sides of the bowl and add in the eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  4. Add in the flour and baking powder, mix until a soft dough forms.
  5. Portion out your dough using 1 1/2 tbsp of dough for each cookie. Roll into a ball and then flatten just slightly. Place on the prepared cookie sheet and repeat with remaining dough.
  6. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 9-11 minutes until the centers no longer look wet. Pull them out before they turn brown.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool completely on the pan.
  8. Make the frosting by creaming the softened butter until smooth, then adding in the powdered sugar alternating with the extracts and heavy cream until smooth.
  9. Use pink food coloring to dye the frosting, adding a little at a time for desired color.
  10. Frost each cookie and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use room-temperature butter and eggs for a smoother dough. Measure flour accurately to achieve the best results.
