- 2 types of cheese (soft and firm), about 8–12 oz total
- 2 types of cured meat (sliced salami, prosciutto)
- 1 cup fresh grapes or berries
- 1 apple or pear, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts)
- 1 small jar of honey or jam
- 1 box of crackers or sliced baguette
- 1/2 cup pickles or olives
- Small sweets (mini chocolate eggs or pastel candies)
- Fresh herbs or edible flowers for decoration
Instructions
- Choose a board or large platter and wipe it clean.
- Place cheese pieces first, leaving space for a knife.
- Fold or roll meat and place near cheese.
- Add crackers or bread in small stacks.
- Fill empty spots with fruit, nuts, and pickles.
- Put honey or jam in a small bowl and set it on the board.
- Scatter small sweets and add herbs or flowers for color.
- Check the board from all sides and adjust for balance.
Notes
Use varying colors and shapes for a prettier look. Bring cheeses to room temperature for better flavor.
