Description
Oreo Balls are a fun and tasty no-bake treat made with crushed Oreos and cream cheese, perfect for parties or a sweet snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pack of Oreo cookies (about 15–20 cookies)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or dark chocolate)
- Sprinkles (optional for decoration)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-lock bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
- In a large bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese until well combined and smooth.
- Scoop out small amounts of the mixture (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll them into balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring in between until smooth.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate using a fork, allowing the excess chocolate to drip off, then place them back on the baking sheet.
- Add sprinkles on top before the chocolate sets, if desired.
- Refrigerate the Oreo Balls for about 15-20 minutes to let the chocolate harden.
Notes
For best results, ensure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing. Use different chocolate types for variety.
