Description

A quick and simple one-pan meal featuring tender chicken breasts and buttery egg noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the pan. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, typically around 7-10 minutes.
  6. Once noodles are cooked, return the chicken to the pan and mix in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until melted.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding vegetables like peas or bell peppers. If you like a creamier sauce, stir in a splash of heavy cream just before serving.
