Description

A rich and moist chocolate cake made without flour, using sweet potatoes and almond butter for natural sweetness.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (dairy-free if vegan)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. Combine the mashed sweet potatoes, almond butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Mix until smooth.
  3. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy your gluten-free, vegan, and paleo-friendly dessert!
