Description

Quick, soft, and delicious dinner rolls ready in just 30 minutes, perfect for any meal or occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Allow to proof for about 2-5 minutes.
  3. Add in the oil, salt, egg, and flour, one cup at a time. Mix with the stand mixer until combined.
  4. Let the stand mixer knead the dough for about 4 minutes until soft. Be careful not to add too much flour.
  5. Spray your hands with baking spray and shape the dough into 15 individual balls.
  6. Place the dough balls in the prepared baking dish and cover with a dish towel.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F and let the dough rise while the oven heats.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven and brush the tops with melted butter before serving.

Notes

For a rich flavor, consider adding herbs or spices to the dough. Store leftover rolls in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
