Ingredients

- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Allow to proof for about 2-5 minutes.
- Add in the oil, salt, egg, and flour, one cup at a time. Mix with the stand mixer until combined.
- Let the stand mixer knead the dough for about 4 minutes until soft. Be careful not to add too much flour.
- Spray your hands with baking spray and shape the dough into 15 individual balls.
- Place the dough balls in the prepared baking dish and cover with a dish towel.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and let the dough rise while the oven heats.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and brush the tops with melted butter before serving.
Notes
For a rich flavor, consider adding herbs or spices to the dough. Store leftover rolls in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
