Description

A quick and easy recipe for soft and fluffy pancakes that everyone will love.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2½ teaspoons aluminum-free baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1¼ cups milk (any type)
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Make a well in the center and add the wet ingredients. Beat the egg lightly, then stir until just mixed. Do not overmix.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and grease it lightly.
  4. Pour about 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on top. Flip and cook until the other side is golden.
  5. Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, do not overmix the batter and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
