- 1 pie crust
- 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the pie crust in a pie dish and arrange the sliced apples evenly on the bottom.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture over the apples in the pie crust.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the custard is set and the top is golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
