Description
Soft and fluffy dinner rolls with a wonderful crust, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 cup Warm Water (under 110°F)
- 1 teaspoon Active Dry Yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon Honey
- 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- Mix warm water, yeast, and honey in a mixer with a dough hook and let sit for about 8 minutes until foamy.
- Add all-purpose flour and salt, knead on medium speed for 8-10 minutes until dough is smooth.
- Put the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 45 minutes.
- Fold each side of the dough to make a square, cover, and let rise for another 45 minutes.
- Allow the dough to rise until doubled in size, about 30-45 minutes.
- Grease two round cake pans or a 9×13 pan with butter.
- On a floured surface, divide dough in half, then each half into 5 pieces, shaping into rolls.
- Place rolls seam side down in the pans, cover them, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to 2 days.
- Preheat oven to 500°F, let the rolls double in size after removing from the refrigerator.
- Mist the rolls with water before baking.
- Bake at 500°F for 10 minutes, then lower to 400°F and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
Notes
Serve warm with butter or olive oil. Great with soups, stews, and salads.
