Description

These warm and cheesy rollups are a quick and tasty snack or meal, featuring ground beef mixed with garlic butter and cheese, all wrapped in crescent dough.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your preference)
  • 1/4 cup garlic butter
  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: pickles, ketchup, mustard, onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in garlic butter until melted and combined.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture along with some shredded cheese at the wide end of each triangle.
  6. Roll them up, starting from the wide end and tucking in the sides as you go.
  7. Place the rollups on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Beat the egg and brush it over the rollups for shine.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm with your choice of toppings.

Notes

Use warm beef to avoid melting the dough too soon. Drain the beef well for crispier rollups. Can be served with additional toppings for extra flavor.
