Description

A light, flavorful, and aromatic dish featuring sea bass baked with fresh herbs, garlic, and lemon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sea bass fillets (68 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill or thyme, chopped
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat sea bass dry and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, parsley, dill or thyme, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush the mixture generously over the fillets.
  5. Top with thin lemon slices.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, depending on thickness, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve immediately with vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.

Notes

Don’t overcook; remove as soon as the fish flakes. Add a drizzle of olive oil after baking for shine. Using fresh herbs gives the brightest flavor.
