Description
These maple donut bars are simple and fast, baked in one pan, with a soft cake and sweet maple glaze.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
- Whisk together milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla in another bowl.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool.
- Mix maple syrup and powdered sugar in a bowl to create the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bars and let it set before cutting into squares.
Notes
Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer storage, refrigerate for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
