Instructions
- Cut mozzarella cheese into sticks.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour seasoned with salt and pepper, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs.
- Dip each cheese stick first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are well coated.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the breaded cheese sticks in batches until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
Notes
For best results, freeze the coated sticks for 30 minutes before frying to help them hold their shape. Use cold cheese to minimize melting.
