Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
  • 1 cup warm water (110°F)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or Italian blend)
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Instructions

  1. Add warm water, olive oil, and yeast to the bread machine pan. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add bread flour, salt, sugar, Italian herbs, and cheese into the pan.
  3. Select the ‘Basic Bread’ or ‘French Bread’ setting on the bread machine.
  4. Start the machine and let it bake.
  5. Once baked, remove the bread from the pan and allow it to cool on a wire rack before slicing. Enjoy!
