- 2 large onions
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the onions into rings and separate them.
- In one bowl, mix almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each onion ring first into the egg, then into the almond flour mixture, coating well.
- Place the coated rings in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Spray with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and serve warm.
Notes
Serve with low-carb dip like ranch or sugar-free ketchup. Use firm onions and do not overcrowd the air fryer for best results.
