Description

Crunchy, low-carb onion rings made in the air fryer, offering a fried taste without deep frying.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the onions into rings and separate them.
  3. In one bowl, mix almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  5. Dip each onion ring first into the egg, then into the almond flour mixture, coating well.
  6. Place the coated rings in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded.
  7. Spray with cooking spray.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove and serve warm.
