Description

A silky Middle Eastern milk pudding made with milk, sugar, cornstarch, and rosewater. Light, floral, and easy to make.


Ingredients

Scale

2 cups whole milk

2 tbsp cornstarch

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp rosewater or orange blossom water

Crushed pistachios (optional)


Instructions

1. In a saucepan, mix milk, cornstarch, and sugar.

2. Stir constantly over medium heat until thickened.

3. Once thick, remove from heat and stir in rosewater.

4. Pour into ramekins and let cool slightly.

5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

6. Garnish with nuts if desired.
