- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well combined and sauce thickens.
- Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet.
- Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce and chicken.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Add vegetables like spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor. For a spicy kick, include red pepper flakes.
