Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well combined and sauce thickens.
  5. Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce and chicken.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
