Description

An exquisite appetizer featuring fresh sushi-grade tuna mixed with vibrant flavors and served on crispy wontons.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sushi-grade tuna, diced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (or more to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine diced tuna, soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, and lime juice. Mix gently to coat the tuna.
  2. Add avocado and green onions to the tuna mixture. Stir lightly to combine.
  3. To make the wontons, cut the wrappers into triangles. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the wonton triangles until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  5. To serve, place a spoonful of the tuna mixture on a wonton and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Notes

Fresh sushi-grade tuna is key for the best flavor. Adjust the spiciness of the dish by modifying the amount of sriracha to your taste.
