Description

Delightful Nutella-filled brioche buns that are soft, fluffy, and perfect for any time of the day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk, warmed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1/4 cup raspberry syrup
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix to form a dough.
  4. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Allow the dough to rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 60 minutes.
  6. Roll out the dough to a rectangle, spread Nutella evenly, and roll it up tightly.
  7. Cut into buns, place in a baking dish, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Drizzle with raspberry syrup and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Best served warm. Can be paired with coffee or tea, or enjoyed with whipped cream or ice cream.
