Description

A simple and delicious one-pan meal featuring chicken and buttered noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, then add to the skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Stir in the egg noodles and reduce the heat, simmering until noodles are cooked, about 7-10 minutes.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, toss everything together to mix, and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to check that chicken is cooked through. You can add more garlic or spices according to taste.
