Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak (such as sirloin or ribeye), sliced into strips
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fried shallots for topping
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme) for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
