Description

A delightful dish combining tender scallops with creamy garlic-infused pasta, perfect for special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb scallops
  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the scallops with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet, searing for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove scallops and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  6. Toss cooked pasta in the creamy garlic sauce.
  7. Serve the pasta on plates, topped with seared scallops and garnish with parsley. Enjoy!

Notes

Ensure your skillet is hot before searing scallops and use fresh Parmesan for the best flavor.
