- 1 lb scallops
- 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat.
- Season the scallops with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet, searing for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove scallops and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to the skillet, stirring to combine.
- Toss cooked pasta in the creamy garlic sauce.
- Serve the pasta on plates, topped with seared scallops and garnish with parsley. Enjoy!
