Ingredients
- Baguette or Italian bread, sliced
- Cream cheese
- Smoked salmon
- Capers
- Fresh dill
- Lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
- Let the toasted bread cool slightly.
- Spread cream cheese on each slice of toasted bread.
- Top with smoked salmon.
- Garnish with capers, fresh dill, a squeeze of lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately as an appetizer.
