Description

A spicy twist on classic deviled eggs, with creamy yolk filling and a bold kick from chili garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Begin by boiling the eggs. Place the eggs in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, cover, remove from heat, and let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to ice water to cool. Peel the eggs once cooled.
  3. Slice each egg in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks.
  4. In a bowl, mix the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of paprika before serving.

Notes

For a smoother filling, mash yolks well or press through a fine sieve. Use older eggs for easier peeling.
