Description

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, cubed
  • ½ cup (4 ounces) cream cheese
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup jimmies sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare baking pans.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a food processor and pulse to mix.
  3. Add cold butter cubes and cream cheese, along with granulated and powdered sugars; pulse until sandy.
  4. Add egg and vanilla extract and blend until dough comes together.
  5. Roll dough into 1 ½ tablespoon-sized balls, then roll in sprinkles.
  6. Place on prepared baking pan, flatten to about ¼ to ½ inch thick.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes until slightly under-baked.
  8. Let cookies rest on baking pan for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
